Yoga Shots

I'm gathering from our recent conversations that we're both thinking of something more artistic rather than fancy yoga pose portraiture. I'm realizing posting these that all of the photos I like are outdoors rather than in the studio. I feel like I want to express two things with that: one - that sense of vast wise open space that you were talking about. And two - that our retreats are going to be at the opposite pole of the "studio" experience.

But where can we shoot that can express that? Tulum would be nice. :)

I'm also having an image of Enchanted Rock. I imagine that Cambria could use photo shop to really turn up the pink in the granite - akin to that pink color you loved on the logo comps. The big downside is that it's a long hual there. It turns a 3-4 hour photo shoot into a 6-7 hour photo shoot and none of us have that kind of time on our hands.

Any ideas of another outdoor space nearby that evokes that kind of vastness?

Just kidding about this first photo.

I'm very drawn to this position of the arms overhead. It's evocative of the adi-shakti symbol. It's also on the postcard. Let's make sure we get one of these on the shot list.
